I've been a little MIA but over the past couple weeks (or month). Here's what I've been up to! I bought these beautiful pieces to wear the day of (thank you Myra Kim, you can find here on www.etsy.com):
and I've got my shoes in hand!

Other than that I've still been searching high and low for cute gold dresses for you ladies! Here are today's options:

These Tory Burch shoes from Nordstrom might look cute under my dress (also "T" is for Turner :P).

So I am still into this idea of gold dresses. I don't know if eggplant is going to happen... I am going to go try on the twobirdsbridesmaid dresses at some point to see if the whole 'wrap your own dress' thing works. And, their website says they will be making their dress in augerbine (that's french for eggplant I learned) - which is a plus! No extra fee for a special color.

Anyhow, apparently it is all the rage in NYC to let your bridesmaids decide on their own dresses according to a theme (you can read about it here). Granted some of the dress combos featured in this article are fugly... What about these combos? A little vintage, a little pearly gold? All the images link to where I found them.
